New kit Galleon "San Bartolome - 2"

The painting technique on the test model is the same as on the "Bartolome". But in the serial set, all materials will be made of precious woods: walnut, cherry, alder. Therefore, it will be quite possible to apply the traditional finish familiar and familiar to most modellers.
Thanks Pavel, I see you don't want to answer my question about paintwork. Nevermind, thanks anyway

About painting, everything is much more detailed in the videos on YouTube on those videos that I have already published. In addition, I do not use an airbrush, so I can not give advice. Turn on the subtitles on YouTube and watch the videos again, I think you will find the answers to your questions. In any case, you will gain experience only with practice ....

I have seen your video more than once and I understand that different paints are used, just as I well understood that it is a matter of practice. Unfortunately in the video you don't explain which number of paint corresponds to the one you're using at that moment. But it doesn't matter, I'll try to do my best

Where should pieces A22-2L and A22-2R be placed?

These parts are given as spare parts. See page 109 for the order in which the boards are to be installed. Lay boards from 22 to 29, if you have them installed exactly before the turn and without glue, then part 22-2 is not needed, and if you chamfer a little more, then you will not have enough boards and then part 22-2 is installed after part 22, and then item 23.

“Pavel Nikitin Ships” store presents a new sailing ship wooden kit, a 24-gun galleon ship “San Bartolome” in retro style.
Historical background.
This galleon supposedly was part of the Spanish Invincible Armada led by Alonso Perez de Guzman, 7th Duke of Medina Sidonia, in May – September 1588. The Invincible Armada was battered in multiple battles with the Anglo-Dutch naval fleet composed of light and maneuverable ships led by Charles Howard. This clash is known as the Battle of Gravelines. Elizabethan Pirates excelled in that battle, especially the notorious Francis Drake. The confrontation between Spanish and Anglo-Dutch fleets lasted for two weeks. The Invincible Armada could not regroup and, refusing the invasion, headed North. English fleet followed Armada along the East coast of the British Islands. The Armada’s return was very challenging: it had to go through the Northside of the Atlantic Ocean along the West coast of Ireland. Due to strong storms, Armada’s ships were taken to the far North and West shores of Ireland. During this expedition, The Invincible Armada lost more than 60 ships, and only 7 of them were lost in battles.

The kit includes:
- A step-by-step guide in Russian and English;
- All details are laser cut and contained in 60 plates;
- Brass etching, high-quality 3D printed items;
- Semi-automatic hawsers;
- 1 layer of laser cut boards identical to the lines of the model;
- Deck consists of separate boards with cross marking and is already prepared for tacks;
- All building blocks correspond to the era the Invincible Armada was in;
- Technical specs: length 980 mm, width 540 mm, height 1030 mm
- The kit can additionally include slipway, stand for the kit and rope weaving machine.

We provide a a detailed step-by-step manual more than 200 pages. Also you can see video manual for this kit on Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd3cc5L7KogFL5LbXGWDOEQ

In box no. 3 all the boards that you see in the photo P1310440.jpg are missing

The instructions are there, the boards to mount the trees and the manoeuvres are missing
If I understand your question correctly, then you are asking about masts and yards and mars platforms. For these elements, 25 plates from box 1 and box 2 are intended. And of course you have them in the kit, these are plates X1-X9 and W3-W19. Instructions for assembling masts and yards will be ready in about two weeks, which I am currently working on. There are more than 5000 parts in the set and each of them needs to be described in detail in the instructions. As a result, the instruction will have at least 300 sheets plus 7 large drawings. And if it were not for the situation in which my country is, then all this would have been ready long ago. Unfortunately, even electricity is extremely irregular in our country, and therefore my work is delayed for a much longer period. But of course I will finish this project, and everyone will receive the necessary documentation to build this ship.

Thank you Pavel, I meant exactly what you said. Are the instructions sent by email? Thank you very much for your availability and I will answer my questions.

Thank you Pavel, above all for all you are able to do despite the many difficulties. Mine was just a question of pure curiosity as I didn't find any references in the boxes. I wish you a good job and above all I ask you to be very careful given what you are experiencing

Yes, of course, we send instructions both in paper form and in PDF.
Pavel, are you already looking for trading partners in Europe? when all the instructions will be finished, I would like to buy ship kit, make it and become a trade partner in Lithuania. however, I would really like the ship not to be painted with an airbrush. the best American walnut wood

We are already releasing a version of "Bartolome" in which almost all elements are made of walnut, cherry and alder. The walnut is not American but European. Producing the whole set from American walnut is unrealistic in principle.... The weight of the set is about 20 kilograms, of which 12 kilograms fall on wooden plates. If you know the cost of the American Walnut, you can imagine the possible cost of the set. There is a limiting budget that cannot be increased, otherwise it will no longer be a commercial project ..
