HMS ALERT 1777 cutter POF by shota70 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Hello Shota, my friend, first of all, please excuse me for only now wishing you a happy birthday. Belated happy birthday.

Now for the ALERT, wow it looks great, you did a tremendous amount of work, really great job.
Dear Tobias, thank you very much for the warm wishes and compliments.
I follow the beautiful models you build, and learn a lot!:)Thumbs-Up

I get lost in the maze of wood lattices looking at your pictures Shota, very nice indeed! Thumbsup
The truth is that I almost got lost too, but in the end I found a lighthouse from the image that emerges from this special model. Thanks for the support and kind words:)

Hi Shota, great progress.
And happy birthday for next year, see I was late for the party. :)

I see you still have some numbers on the deck beams, are you still planning to remove these?
Dear Maarten
Thank you very much for the birthday wishes and the compliments on the model.
the truth is that I didn't plan to leave the numbers and it's good that you mentioned it, I will delete them as soon as possible:)

‏Good evening friends
during the Last week I worked in two directions:
Preparation and connection of all the components that will be used in the LED lighting that I intend to incorporate in the ship. what I need to add is an on and off switch.

At the same time I started working on the bullwarks as well as the cannon exits which consist of three parts - two arches connecting to a part that looks like an upside down table inside an arched shape.
The truth is that most of the week I worked on sanding and adjusting the parts so that they fit together as cleanly and accurately as possible.
I'll let you get an impression of the photos of the process in progress.
Good night everyone:)

good evening dear friends
First I would like to thank you all for the compliments, words of support, likes and smileys, I really appreciate it!! :)
Today I continued working on creating the upper part of the railing - bullwarks as well as the cannon exits.
First, I would like to share with the friends who are currently or in the future will build this high-quality model, when you connect the three arc-shaped parts of the cannon exit, the width is 12 mm, while the width of the rail is 10 mm.
Therefore, the width of each part must be reduced from 4 mm to 3.3 mm.
first I created the cannon exit and only then I started connecting with the railing panels, so at the end of the day I completed the bullwarks as well as the cannon exits on both sides.
One of the things I paid attention to at work, is the creation of a smooth continuity between the cannon exits (consisting of the three arches) and the railing board.
It remains to paint, sand and make small improvements.

Hi Shota,
there is a lot of work behind you, great job. Very nice red, great choice.
I really like the way you used the acrylic paint as a dye, it’s very effective.
Looking great Daniel. Well done. :)

Hello dear friends
I am slowly moving forward in the process, when this time I created The tops of some of the frames bollard type of head.
I'm using a Fine manual wood sanding - the first round and the second straight/rectangular. as well as in different density sandpapers

In addition, I made channels in the heads of three frames in the stern area, into which I will insert the upper and narrow railing.
It was a pleasant and fruitful weekend, I wish it to all of you my friends :)
