What tenacity with all those ratlines. (I wouldn't count the number of knots ). Looks good And impressive.

It's not that bad. the thing is, that many of you want to do it in one row.- make 4 or 5 , then make a pause, and do something else. wait until you come to the sails with it the Boltropes. These can only be attached with hard handwork- no sewing machine can do it, and if you make them all it will around 17.
do good work on Ratlines, can help you, if an accident should happen.

I have finaly tied my last ratline tonight. Final count 1400 clove hitches. Now on to finish the rest of the back stay and one more forestay. Then I'll start on the yards and then running rigging for the foremast.

Received a book on the GORCH fock from a friend in Germany today. Good thing it's nothing but pictures because everything that is written is is German. All the way from bernburg to south west Louisiana

Very very true. But what I really like is the last pic shows more of the in port rigging that I'm thinking of adding.

Throwing some extra rigging on the yards. Taking a page out of Grant's book that he did on his victory. I have the starboard side done, I'll be adding the port side next before I finish anymore rigging or yards to the foremast.

Grant, that's hopefully what I was going for since it was just looking plain.

Operation make the rigging C.A.F.P. is done on the mainmast and the rest of the standing rigging on the foremast is complete.
