The plans come hard copy with the kit so no need to print. I am a 40 year plus old draftie still hanging onto the old days of pen and paper…although all the design work for the past 20 years has been 3D cad modelling. Like I tell my bosses, happy to check design drawings digitally if they provide me with an A1 size screen. Bit me in the ar_e whilst in India when they provided an A2 tablet…..LOL
 
Sorry for the late reply, life has been getting in the way.......
I haven't tried scanning the QR code but know the provided plans/pictures are supposed to be full size except for the masting view which is scaled as noted.
I don't know how they manage to take what appears to be a photo and make it exact scale but measuring the pictures indicates it is true size
