The Schooner Bluenose 1921, POF Yuanqing Models 1:72 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Good afternoon, I just received my YQ Bluenose and am excited to share my first look at its contents. Of course, it came very well packaged and upon opening there is no apparent damage to any of the contents. I like the way most all the fiddley pieces have been shrink wrapped to a cardboard...

    And Another Bluenose

At least it will be once I get it. I am in the final stages of building the Amati Mayflower ( https://www.youtube.com/channel ) and have been promising myself and my subscribers the Bluenose for quite some time. I have only just joined this forum, but loving it so far. I have looked through a...

    Bluenose - YuanQuing (1:72)

I'm about to embark on this wondrous adventure with a great deal of trepidation, but I feel confident with the help of all those in the group that have gone before me I'll be able to finish this task. My Bluenose is #47, and it looks like it's on its way. In the meantime, I wait.

And there it is! Today at 10:29 a very friendly FedEx guy delivered an eagerly expected package from China. Unfortunately, this is my first and also last post for this year on this Bluenose POF build log, since the Admiral put the package under lock and key; it's her Christmas present for me...

    Dr. Y Bluenose [COMPLETED BUILD]

Hello fellow modelers. I have been watching this group build and have learned a great deal. Not the least of which have been my own lack of talent and experience. All of you have been very generous sharing your explanations and photos. I am taking a bit of a plunge to share some of my photos...

    Bluenose 1/72 POF [COMPLETED BUILD]

This is the build log of my POF Bluenose. I started with the frames. I glued and beveled the first 10 frames and placed them in the jig, as a holder. The jig was screwed down to a piece of plywood, to prevent warping. The plywood will be removed later for access.

    Bluenose build - DaveFx35

Well I finally decided to do my first build log. Normally I would just lurk in the background and watch the great work by others. I've always been reluctant to expose my mistakes publicly, but since others have shown the courage to do so, here it goes. I started putting the jig together. I...
