Hello Greg

I thank you very much for your visit to my build log, also for your very kind words and comments. Yes the Led Lights I believe will enhance the Golden Hind and she will surely be a fine night lamp, in the day light none will be visible, ENJOY.

Regards Lawrence

Hello Ship Mates

I again thank you all for your visits to my build log, for your very kind words and nice comments.

Back in the Old Ship Yard the little fellows and I have built and dry fitted the Stern Running Light. We have replaced that solid piece of wire and bent and installed our brass tubing. We have also installed an LED LAMP inside of the Running Light and we think that it looks quite nice. Later on today when the paint sets up we will tape it to the rear of the Stern Galley trying to protect while we work on the hull planking and out side windows. We have also tidied up all of that loose wiring, soldered all of the joints and applied heat shrink tubing to protect against shorts, ENJOY.

just catching up on your build log, and great work so far my friend.

Hello Brian

I thank you very much for your visit to my build log on the Golden Hind, For your very kind words and very nice comments. The Golden Hine build up to now has been very unconvintuacial up to this point due to the LED LIGHTS and wiring. But as we speak I am marking out the windows for the Stern Gallery an plywood so my build will come back in line very soon, ENJOY.

Regards Lawrence

Hello Ship Mates

I thank you all for all of your visits to my build log, for your very kind words and nice comments.

Back in the Old Ship Yard the little guys and I have drawn out the two side panels to the After Stern Gallery, marked our all of it's windows and then cut them out of our ply wood. Had a bit of a laugh yesterday as I used the card board out of a corn flake box as a templet, and drew out the windows on it, I then put it in my scanner and printed one side and then inverted the other. I then cut these out and glued the printed paper to my plywood using some diluted white glue, after cutting these out of my plywood I showed them to my Admiral on the way back from my basement work shop and her seeing the printed corn flake box paper she was very surprised to see that it was indeed plywood, ENJOY

Hello Mike

Thanks for your visit to my build log, for your very kind words and comments. I pursued the stern lantern from The Model Dock Yard in Cornwall, UK. It's a Caldercraft part # 87112, Tops Lantern, 1x small and it seams to fit in quite well, ENJOY.

Hello Ship Mates

I thank you all for your visits to my build log, for your very kind words and overly nice comments.

Back in the Old Ship Yard the little guys and I have cleaned up the windows and added the frames, glazed all of the Stern Gallery Windows and install these two panels. After wards a pone testing my lights on a lower setting it appears that another 1 or two LED LAMPS are needed, ENJOY.

Hello Greg

Thank you for your visit, for your very kind words and your very kind words. I do believe that the LED LIGHTS do add a lot to the over all look of the Golden Hind. I have added another larger LED LIGHT to lighten up those Starboard side windows so now it is off to the Focal, ENJOY.

Hi Ship Mates

I thank you all very much for all of your visits to my build log, for your very kind words and overly nice comments.

Back in the old ship yard the little fellows and I have completed the rebuild of the Stern Quarter Panels along with the smaller windows that we believe is more appropriate for the size of the ship. We have also heightened the side Bulwarks to bring them more in line of the English Gallants of the time period. We left them a tab bit high to be adjusted a bit later on in the build. ENJOY.

Hello Geoff

Thank you very much for your visit to my build log, for your very kind words and nice comments. I am pleased that you like my newer smaller windows that seam to fit in much better on my little ship. A little extra work but I feel that it was well worth the extra effort, ENJOY.

Back in the Old Ship Yard the little fellows and I have built and installed the two panels on the Focal. We have also add a couple of windows per side, we could not find any pictures of windows in the Focal but we feel that there must have been some and besides that we wanted to take advantage of those LED LIGHTS in side the FOCAL.
We are now turning our attention to the two rows of gun ports below the mane deck, this will close in a lot of the hull frames and give a peak at the lines of the Golden Hind, ENJOY.
