In terms of ship model, we have to be keen on the consitency between the structure of the model and the real one, the window of poop deck is arched, and the front is all standard structure like the real one.

Polish the edges of the ribs where the arch is relatively large, in this way the contact surface will be enlarged and it will be convenient to attach the fortune paulownia wood palnks.
Immerse palnks into the water for several minutes, and use iron to make them into certain arch after that at your will, the immersing process is to avoid the fracture of the planks.

After the planking work of the hull is done, please polish the surface and attach some poly-putty to make the ship look firmer and also ensure the surface look smooth.

Notice: you have to attach the planks to the hull naturally, and don't crank the planks on purpose otherwise the planks will not be stuck up. If there are seams between planks, you have to cut out a piece of plank to fix the seams, to fill them.
Attach the planks naturally, and don't twist them while doing,
because it will make the skin hunch-up.

Very interesting subject. And I have a lot to learn about lighting. Looks fun! Great work and thanks for taking the time to show the details.

DIY the pine wood square pillar according to the shape of the poop top.
Make it locate towards the external edge to leave some space in the internal.
