The golden version of Black Pearl 31Inch is designed and manufactured by my own company, it has been sold for 15 years, and we did 3 times of great updates for the kit, there will be no problem for to Make this product.
The designing pictures for the two Versions are different.
ALL SEALED VERSION is the original designing pictures from the ship factory, while Golden Version is the one of 15 years ago with many Updates.
In terms of the material, details and the look, all sealed Version is much better than golden one.
The Black Pearl should be all black, however, in order to make some difference, I paint all the carving parts and brand board into golden during the making process. So I use "golden version" as the name for it. You just use some golden painting to deal with the surface, and you will get the look in the picture in the end.( I have to say that some players just don't want the golden version)

There are only 7 Led, wires and switch provided in the kit. the light system displayed in the photos u is made by the model maker himself, he bought it for this update. As he is an experienced one, adding light system is easy for him, but maybe not too easy for you, so I suggest to only use the items provided in the kit.

As for the closed hull, inside we do one layer with paulownia wood and walnut wood outside, After the planking work of the hull is done, please polish the surface and attach some poly-putty to make the ship look firmer and also ensure the surface look smooth.

Polish the bulge and fill the sunken place, in order to make the interior surface of the ship remain smooth, and only in this way can we attach the planks to it well.

Outfitting work,in order to have a better look of the final version, you have to use sandpaper to polish the carbon part.
The look of the items after painting is for reference. The brand of painting is Pebeo from France or Tamiya paint, and it is kind of acrylic painting.

Could you please provide additional information on how you turn masts and yards. It looks like you use a jig that others might be interested in understanding.

The pins on protection planks are added by the model maker himself, and we do not suggest everyone to do so, as we do not have so many pins in original kit package. Of course, you can decide by youself.
