Model Shipways "Flying Fish" Clipper Ship

Here is a classic Clipper Ship model from Model Expo. #2018 is 36" long at 1/96 scale. Tons of great detail parts including all rigging line and blocks. Box is 26" x 11" x 2.75" and weighs in at a whopping 7lbs 2oz. A wood kit that you will be very proud of when she's finished. Price is $355 plus shipping from 34135 in Florida.

Now you got me counting pennies to see If I can afford a nice wooden ship.

Plastic Naval ships are grand, but I don't do much plastic anymore.

I like the wooden ships too Kurt. Much more satisfying than a plastic model when it's finished but the wooden ones take forever to complete. I usually will build one or two other models during the same time as the wood ship since I get bored with the same old ship all the time. But they all get finished sooner or later. Ha!
