Done about 10 years ago there are some things Iwould do differently now. Still, overall, pretty happy. She got sold at the Annapolis Marine Art Gallery to some English folks sailing the world in their world class yacht. No haggling over price. "I'll just send my 'man' to pick it up." So now the model is sailing around the world someplace in a world class yacht's display case.
The second to last image is that of a "Cameo Model" Low relief. Not a true half model, all basswood, including the sails. Same scale. Done about the same time. (And, yes, the flags are blowing the wrong way for a ship sailing upwind)
