Le Coureur

Good evening, dear friends of model making,
I have started building the small guns. I am deviating from the CAF plan and following the Ancre plans.

The difference is as follows:
CAF -> Round brass tube
ANCRE -> Square wood

The reason for this is that I simply like it better.
With these rifles, the trigger and the fuze and a small holder are also included. They are so tiny (more than tiny ROTF ) that you can hardly see them. @Uwek put them on his Le Coureur as far as I know, respect Uwe, I can hardly see them. As of today, a magnifying glass with a light or something similar is on my wish list.
However, I have paid attention to the mobility, at least somewhat ;).

Oh and one very important thing before I forget Thank you for the thumbs up and your comments.

With the difference between CAF and ancre you mean the pilar on which the riffle is fixed, or?

In order to show the members these small brass elements, please have a short look on my solution

in a distance of 5 or maximum 10cm you can recognize these parts, in a normal distance not at all

at the end I will also install these wooden pilars - very good work my friend

Hello Uwe yes I mean the wooden stands on which the cans are mounted. Great that you show your pictures and describe it to see what I meant.

Definitely there were wooden pilars as basis visible in the drawings

but also CAF is showing something similar - maybe in the manual (which I do not have by hand in moment) is something different shown

So guys, you can't really tell from the CAF drawing if they are wooden posts, but you guys are turning me on so I'm going to replace my pilars with wooden ones. :)

Sorry for that - maybe is written by Boudriot in the text in the booklet about the used material .......
Visible in the contemporary drawing, that the pilar has a bigger cross sectional area (Querschnittsfläche) at the foot compared to the top.
Either Boudriot and also CAF have the same cross sectional area all over the height
So at the end it is a pure interpretation and all solutions can be correct - I like your interpretation also very much

Hello everyone,
I have to admit that Adi has infected me a bit and I don't want to leave him alone on the floor. Le Coureur is not quite finished yet and my goal is to finish the deck before the holidays. There are a lot of small construction sites. Since I'm sticking to the plans in the monograph on deck, I've removed the rear mast holder (red circle) and installed the rigging bracket.

Also turned the aft sail pole (sorry I don't know what it's called). I also rebuilt the pumps.

Some beautiful re-do’s Tobias. The metalwork on the pump is looking very nice.
