I am 82 years old. Have been building entry level models (11) for the past 25 years. Just started Rattlesnake from Model Expo. Thought it was entry to intermediate level model. Had no trouble opening the box but have found it challenging since. I will keep moving forward and do the best I can. With your help it will not look like it was built by Picasso

Perhaps you might consider starting a build log. I am also relatively new to wooden ship building and I started a build log of my current effort. Not only have I had a lot of friendly support and advice offered, I've found sharing my trials and tribulations to be very cathartic.
