Jabeque Cazador ,1/60 Occre [COMPLETED BUILD]

Very good overall effect. I think that you are most successful in creating a very different variation to the ones I have seen in other builds. You are a master with a paintbrush/airbrush in hand and it really shows in your exceptionally clean paint work. Well done. A very blessed Christmas and a healthy 2022 to you and your family.
Thank you Heinrich for your kind words, I also wish you a beautiful Christmas for you and your family, thank you again and a hug from Cádiz, Spain.

I just love your build with its vivid colors. A very Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family as well my friend!

Hello everyone, progress these days, making the jack davit, cannon ports and adding some elements to the deck.IMG_20220118_183546.jpgIMG_20220118_183442.jpgIMG_20220118_183504.jpgIMG_20220118_183519.jpgIMG_20220118_183451.jpgIMG_20220118_183553.jpg

In the Amati Xebec, they have some reinforcements on the stern so that the stern floor rests, I have copied it but I am going to put it as an ornament on the stern.

The extra ornamentation at the stern is beautiful, but those sheaves that you used in the davits are my favorite - so realistic!

Looks great! I love the stern decoration you added! I see you did not taper the top of the cathead?

Hi all. This is the week job. Placement of the gratings, stanchion, stringers and finish painting the hull. I hope you like it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.View attachment 277780View attachment 277781View attachment 277782View attachment 277783View attachment 277784View attachment 277785View attachment 277786
I think that from the prior comments, those of us like your work, but the real question in my mind is how it is seen in your own mind as to what you intended, achieved, and direction that you will follow. Very precise work from your hands . . . even with the pace of the work. This will be a reward to follow to the final launching. Rich (PT_2)

New log page, new year, and new production. To my eyes, in the photos, the contrasting colors have a good balance overall. Rich (PT-2)

Good morning- beautiful. I absolutely love it. Well done thus far.

Hi Ptèr, now that you mention it, I hadn't looked closely at the photograph and you're right, it has a taper, I'll try to take them off if I can without breaking anything, thanks for your appreciation.

Maybe it's not necessary to take them off...you can use a flat needle file to get the job done. The wood is easily workable with a sharp needle file and won't take long at all. I use these files for all the shaping of my wood, and really appreciate these tools. Good luck and glad to help! :)

Hello again everyone, thanks to Ptèr's observation, I was able to correct the mistake made with the winch, since I had to lower the rear part of it. Since I couldn't take it off, I lowered it with the Dremel and then adjusted it With the file and sandpaper, I think it turned out well, I await your comments.IMG_20220118_183519~2.jpgIMG_20220119_102504.jpgIMG_20220119_104623.jpgIMG_20220119_104846.jpgIMG_20220119_115227.jpgIMG_20220119_115321.jpgIMG_20220119_115236.jpg
