I present to you my current project, the famous HMS Victory. It's a project that I've been working on for a few years, since I'm picking it up and leaving it as time goes by. I had a problem with the computer and I have lost the assembly photos so I can only show the current ones. greetings sailors

It is the turn of the anchors. I take this opportunity to ask a question and thus also learn: Of the four anchors that this type of ship carried, I suppose that two were functional and the other two were reserve, right?

I have built them in wood and I have been giving them shape with the disc sander

Once the sanding and assembly is finished, I have given it several layers of primer

The result is very satisfactory

Very nice-looking ship. What is the scale and who is the kit made by, or is this a scratch build? I see you have a lot of gun ports closed. Any reason why?

Hi dnalley
In response to your question, the construction is not from a kit. It is made from scratch on some (imcomplete) Italian plans of "Vincenso Lusci" from the year 1964. To your other question about the reason for the closed canyon doors is because of the fear I had for this project when I started it. The truth is, I didn't think I could get as far as I have, and it's true that every day that passes I think about modifying it and opening those floodgates. So the same soon sees them modified. greetings sailors

Sorry, and about the scale, in the plans that I have it does not indicate it anywhere. By measurements in plan and comparing it with the "Constructo" kit, which is very similar, I would say that the scale corresponds to 1:94/ 1:96

Hello to all companions. The next thing I have done are the battles. For this I have used copper wire for the frames and mosquito mesh for the rope grating. The next thing I'm doing is discovering all the embrasures to leave them open with their artillery pieces. greetings sailors
