HMS Invincible - Rudder found.

I thought this may be of interest to some.
The rudder of HMS Invincible discovered on Solent seabed near Portsmouth as reported by the BBC.

It wouldn't have to be found if HMS Invincible wasn't blown to pieces but life is life and economy dosen't always go along with historical works of art

This Invincible was grounded on a sandbank and sunk after 3 days, with no loss of hands.
Very interesting found and many thanks for the information

I am looking forward if they will raise the rudder......

They found the rudder far waway from the known Invincible wreckside, so for me it seems, that she lost the rudder first and hit the sandbank afterwards
