Hi all,
Found SoS after being recommended by a FB wooden ship model group. And glad I found it - great site from what I've seen so far.
I'm re-entering the world of wooden ships, after taking a break to do plastic models. So I'll keep doing 1/350 ships and subs, but excited to have the time, space and patience to get back to wood. Part of the reason I stopped was loss of my workshop space, but I have room again ow if not all the tools I once had.
Will share some pics when I get a chance. I mainly scratch build and plan to do a series of Australian paddle steamers (and eventually tugs) in 1/48 along with the occasional kit. So the next 10 years' builds are planned!
All the best,
Darren
