Hi, its nice to join you all.
I'm a South African who works offshore, currently out of Qatar, as a commercial diver.
I have built a few ships now, my first being a weekend kit of the pinta. After that, I built an artesania latina hms Endeavour, then a scratch build pirate ship adaptation of hms Aldebaran. I am currently building a deagostini hms victory.
My job is rather demanding of my time, I spend 8 to 9 months of the year offshore, so these builds take me many years.
