Hello from New Zealand

Hi all ,

Looking forward to reading plenty of build logs and getting lots of tips. Have purchased an occre kit from Devon in England and just have to wait for hopefully only a couple of weeks.
Grew up sailing in small boats in NZ , built a 14ft standing lug sailing dingy years ago
Spent 2 months in 1992 preparing replica of the Golden Hinde (built in Devon )for its voyage around UK , tarring hull , re caulking and tarring decks , etc then next four months sailing around Ireland , England and Jersey.
So have ordered the Hinde by Occre to reminisce and hopefully build some other small ships in the future
