I posted earlier about free plans offered by Model Monkey (modelmonkeybookandhobby@gmail.com). They have now added considerably to the plans available.
New scans of original builders' ship plans available for free download include:

  • Bismarck
  • Tirpitz
  • Deutschland-class heavy cruiser Deutschland
  • Sail training ship Horst Wessel
  • Yamashiro, as-built configuration
  • RMS Olympic, inboard profile and decks
  • County-class heavy cruiser HMAS Australia
  • N-class destroyer HMAS Nepal
  • V-class destroyer HMS Vampire
  • Training carrier USS Wolverine IX-64
  • USS Langley CV-1
  • USS Essex CVA-9, 1960 appearance

Great link, thanks, they have all sorts of stuff on their site and they do have some sailing ship plans.

I'm a sailing ship guy so can only be impressed by the complexity of the 3D printed parts he makes for modern warships. However, I did buy some ship's cannons from him and found them to be very well made and accurate in scale.
