Hope this is of interest to anyone building this after me. Very interesting ship, fascinating history. Was not impressed much by the kit. Only graphic instructions which were barely adequate. It was a cheap kit so shouldnt complain, it really needs a fair bit of upgrading by the builder in my opinion.

Thanks the support. I was just a little frustrated but at the price the kit was probably OK. If they offered a "premium" option for say +$100 with pearwood blocks, decent rigging cord, instructions in English... a reasonable attempt to model the fence of white painted steel rail... (some members made an outstanding job of the provided fence structure...Hello Francois ) ...my soldered copper wire wasnt a bad idea but I made it too big ...so I guess thats a fair bit of change but the thing is that it is an extraordinarily interesting and important ship that deserves Amati or Caldercraft to do really well. Whatever... mine looks good on the shelf and I learn something every time, so I am looking forward to bringing a better game to the Mary Rose.
 
Despite the observed shortcomings of the kit you've done a wonderful job in bring ing her to life. She definitely deserves a place of honor in the "Mallacoota" household.

Many Thanks...I have to lift my detail work for the Mary Rose...looking forward to it. Oh and I certainly dont put the shortcomings in the outcome to the kit... just the value/quality of what they give you. A good modeller would kit bash it up to expert level.
 
Nice job on the Endurance, looking forward to seeing your build log on the Mary Rose.
