Build log USF Confederacy 1778 Model Shipways 1:64

Dear modelers,

tomorrow my last post is exactly four months ago, and there is much progress with the model. The ship´s boats were placed only for the photos and are not yet glued.
I intend to have the model finished soon, because the next model is waiting....

Comments and questions welcome.

Greetings

Werner

The best Confederacy build that I’ve seen, a true masterclass.

Very good looking model - and very good progress (and this although it was summer season)

Are these boats part of the kit? - They are looking very detailed

Bravo - hope to see soon the final photos ....... and what is coming afterwards? yoiu mentioned already that the new project is waiting?

Hello Uwe, thank you very much!

Yes, the boats are part of the kit, and I built them first before beginning with the ship, back in 2015, so the boats are already lying for a few years waiting to be glued on the ship (I purchased the kit in September 2014)

The next project will be building the cruiser ship AIDA from Revell. It was a christmas present from my sons a few years ago, and I started with it, but priority was always on the Confederacy.

Beautiful. Love the brickwork in the galley, too. But all the details really make it sing.
