Hi all,
and Merry Christmas!
Just opened my presents and this one was a surprise. A wood kit from a Canadian company named H. Leclerc ENR Bateaux. It is the Bluenose 1921 schooner.
The box and paperwork are aged and slightly yellowed. The kit number is KLP-70-1. I'm assuming it's from the 1970's. The kit appears complete in original packaging.
I found some information online, but wondering if anyone here has had direct experience with these kits.
Thanks!

What a wonderful present, Peter. Never heard or seen a Bluenose of that company. I hope you start soon with the build of that lovely model and this is the first post of the build-log of it. :)
I will ad it with great pleasure to the list of BN-builds I keep:
It’s in the YQ aera, but the company H. Leclerc ENR Bateaux is new on it.
Regards, Peter

Thanks very much Peter. Although I'd love to start the Bluenose, I'm set up for my build of the Mary Celeste. (Using the Matthew Turner kit as a base). I don't have enough space to do two at once, nor the courage. She may be on the ways come Spring.
Peter
