For various reasons my model building activities have been suspended for quite a while now leaving a bunch of projects either, just started or at the other end of the spectrum almost finished. This applies to all my model building from airplanes to cars. Lately I've been reading some nautical novels on my Kindle hoping I might get inspired to get back to work on ship models, at least the ones close to the finish line. In my absence it appears that SOS has grown and expanded quite a bit. Lately I have also purchased a couple of WWII era boat models. One the new Revell PT 109 from Germany and the other a late war Elco 80' in 1/48th scale from Merit models, now produced by Trumpeter. Both are fine kits and I will post a review soon if there is interest.
