recently started Heller 1/100 HMS victory after picking it up over a year ago been reading up on other builds and videos, built this once many years ago but that wasn't built for me and fancied having another go this time with many added extras, new wood deck, ropes and wooden rigging blocks from His models, extra lifeboats but have added detail to them, must say I have used a lot of Dafis information to do the alterations and looking forward to having a play with his etch set and resin bits

Bit more of etch set fitted then started paint last night undercoated with halford white primer, then Humbrol flesh colour, and hand paint stern with acrylic black to start, still lot to do on it and need to go back over where brush slipped and touch up some parts that rubbed off with handling but happy so far.

I suspect that Victory and Cutty Sark are probably the most started and most unfinished kits, the builders defeated by the rigging! Good luck with your build.

Hi Mike
Built it one 20+years ago straight from the box took 3months of 5 nights a week doing rigging then just using heller instructions, kit was for someone else, this time I want to try to be more accurate will see how it goes this will be second rigged model ive ever built but I enjoy a challenge
