I just joined this forum and am quite pleased with the level of modeling found here.
I have been building kits and scratch building for over 40 years..and am excited to see what you are all doing..along with posting my own build logs. I'm currently modifying the 1/96 Cutty Sark hull into the Clipper Glory of the Seas...loads of scratch building.

Thanks Donnie..I have followed some of your builds and I am quite impressed. Glad to know..I am not the only one who turns his own masts and yards.
Shipbuilder uses metal for mast and yards....who would have thunk...I have built models doing the same thing...this place is cool.
