Dear modelers,

You who know our e-shop know that we offer a range of common
blocks from walnut wood including sets of blocks for kits. However, besides the classic types of blocks we also offer other specific types that were used on different types of ships. We have now added two types of blocks to our range: big deadeyes and liftblocks.

Both types of blocks were used on older 17th century ship types like the Wasa or the Seven Provinces. While the big deadeyes were used to tension the main longitudinal stays. The liftblocks were used for hanging and guiding the liftrope on the main boom. We produces them in several different sizes and you can find them
HERE. Check also the pictures:

Dear modellers,

We have now started to offer a new type of standard blocks. As many of you know, the shape of the blocks may have varied depending on the period and country of manufacture. For classic single, double and triple blocks, we can distinguish two basic shapes in historic sailboats up to the 20th century.

1) The older continental shape of blocks, which was more rounded, was generally used until the 18th century.
2) From the 18th century, the English began to use a more angular type of blocks, which we have been offering for a long time.

Now, depending on the type of your model, you can choose which type of blocks is more suitable and thereby increase the authenticity of your build even more.

You can check them on the photos here:
