Your printer does very fine details. I tried some basic printer in the past. It produced very crude parts not suitable for my needs.

Fantastic designs. It's maybe a bit late for me, because I recently modeled my "big" reconstruction of a period ship in 3D, but I'll ask out of curiosity and maybe for the future. Could you also model organic shapes, i.e. such as are needed for decoration (human, animal, floral forms)? It's rather my Achilles heel.

I'm not able to model these kind of shapes, at least not on a realistic way, sorry.

Y.T. in all fairness, the gears you show were printed using a 3rd party. I modeled them but did not print them myself. I currently print using a filament printer. Except for the engine parts, all other parts were printed by me. Depending on the complexity and detail of the part, l either print the part myself or have it printed in resin.

I'm currently working on my first 3Design Models projet (3DM for short). It's a dump truck body. I've completed the 3d modeling and will start the actual fab very soon. There is not much 3d printing in this projet, it will be mostly scratch built from styrene and aluminium. It will have a working tail gate and if all goes to plan, a working air driven lift cylinder. It gives an idea of what I can do.

Almost done with this project, tail gate is done with locking pins, telescopic lift cylinder top anchor post done, front and rear mud flaps done, tarp arm done. All that is left to do is the telescopic cylinder.

Did the telescopic cylinder today, and it actually works using my airbrush compressor. Also simulated the welds on the dump body using tamiya putty and a custom printed super thin nozzle.






The brass tubing will be replaced by an aluminium part.

Well, another completed project. The painting will be done by the customer. It was a different build for me but still very fun.
