Hi all, I am looking into my potential next project, hoping to do a Sergal xebec but I'm slightly confused about the options; the obvious option is to buy the kit and it comes with everything prepared and ready to go but the store I was looking at also sells the plans for the kit. What is actually included in these? Are these just the plans from the kit i.e. doesn't show the shapes to make the frames or would I be able to make all the required parts from these plans?
If anyone has done either the kit or made the boat from the plans I'd love to know how your experience was

Thanks

Hi
All the Sergal/Mantua plans I have seen include full size outlines of each laser cut part. These just need to be photo copied and glued to the correct thickness of wood prior to cutting them out.
I see you are also in uk. Mantua Models in Windsor can order the laser cut sheets from Italy. Ask for Russel, he is very helpful. The price is realistic but delivery take two months.
Cheers
