The real Mary Celeste died on a reef in Hati years after the mysterious disappearance of her crew in December of 1872. I hope I have done her memory justice in my interpretation of her.
I used the Modelers Central kit(The Matthew Turner) as the base for this rendition of the Mary Celeste as no current kit existed.
She's 36" long and 30" high. May her missing crew (Captain Benj. Spooner Briggs, his wife Sarah, their two-year-old daughter and crew of seven) rest in peace.

Well, she sailed again for many years after she was found adrift.
Some have built this model in a diorama mode, i.e. life boat missing, deck rail section removed, rigging broken, sails tattered.
I chose to show her as she was after the incident in her final sailing days.

I know, but it was a point of thought for me as to put figures on or not...I thought it was interesting you commented on jt.
No offense taken, sorry if it seemed that way :)
