This kit I have built between 1994 and 1996.

Port side of the hull was constructed out of 3 layers of strips. The first layer was walnut and became the inner of the hull. The second layer was lime wood and the third, the outer layer walnut again. The kit was delivered in a wooden case, which incorporated the the bulkheads in it.

Photo 0002 start first planking, 0003 start second planking, 0004 second planking completed, 0005 third planking ready, 0006 bulkheads taken out, 0007 an empty shell, where and how to place the various decks, 0008 the first deck in place I hope, 0009 it does not look too bad, 0010this side looks as a ship, 0011 building the interior, 0014 it is fun to build this one, 0015 and following pics are selfexplaining I think.

Lovely work and great detail, particularly below decks

Thanks Barba. I found the pictures of your 'Le Requin'on this forum, what a beauty is she! Did you build her from an existing kit?
