Palm Springs Air Museum, California (Naval Models)

Went on a tour of the Palm Springs Air Museum and to my surprise there was an entire area in one of the display hangers devoted to Naval War Ship Models. BIG ones! Museum quality with incredible detail. Most impressive. I thought I'd share.

Sorry Ewek, no closeups. My camera pixel saturation is such that enlarging the photo is an alternate option to actual close ups.

The two large cut-away models that show the interior detials are amazing. I was from San Diego (an hour and a half away) and never knew this existed. We'll be back this summer and I home to visit this museum!! Thanks for sharing!
