New to wooden shipbuilding.

Good day! I hope I am not biting off more than i can chew. I have been building plastic models for YEARS and I have always wanted to build a wooden shop. I purchased the Katy of Norfolk and I am a fish out of water. I will get started soon, but I want to try to find some reference materials before i begin. I should find some good information here.
