What a lovely build in every respect! I especially like the unfinished (or if at all, only so much as necessary) wood in contrast to your masterful, precise and clean handling of it. The ship's boat is a wonderful model in and of itself. The planking is precise and a tutorial in that discipline. Everything about the model invites the viewer in to see and explore its many rewards in perusing it. It educates the viewer in so many ways. Finally I especially appreciate the carving ( sculpture, really) of the Manta Ray, elevating the whole project into the realm of fine art! I am moved to step up my game. You set a high bar!

Dominique, Great craftmanship and I love this kit from Amati. The Fifie is a type of fishing vessel developed on the east coast of Scotland! My wife is Scottish and she loves anything from Scotland. This model would be nice to add to our home and it looks like it would be fun to research and build also. Thanks for sending the photos for all of us to enjoy! Magic Mike
