I ordered a mini sander. I was looking for one that was not orbital that would just walk away. Found this one and I am very happy with it. This one is a "Micro-Mark", with eight different tips and 60 adhesive sanding pads- 180 grit to 400 grit. It sure makes some sanding so much easier!

Could you post a link to the one that you bought?

Thanks,

Reg

This is the PROXXON pen-sander, just re-branded and re-coloured for the American buyer.

The catalog calls this tool a "finishing sander", and the price today is $79.95. I use mine fairly often, but didn't pay that much ~four years ago.

Be aware. It goes through the stick-on sandpaper VERY fast. I found that buying heavier duty self-stick sanding papers and cutting to fit works much better. (Bought my sander from Micro-Mark...)
Hello Phil...... where do purchase your "self stick" sandpaper sheets.

I buy it by the roll at an auto painting store. The rolls fit my in-line sander. They are 2 1/2" to 4" wide x 100 foot. I use it in woodwrking. It is a thicker paper and has a very sticky adhesive.
