e a dilma, I am reworking my Hobby Room, makeing room for new power tools, taking Daves sugestion, ONE PROBLEM IS ROOM, I am out of room, I JUST BOUGHT A BENCH DRILL PRESS, AND AM GETTING THE LUTERS FRIEND THAT DAVE SUGESTED, and I also have a work mate that is being used, the question IS BOTH ITEMS HAVE NO CASTERS SO I CAN NOT MOVE THEM AROUND TO HEAVY TO PUSH, does anyone know if you can put on a set of casteres, I am also getting A 9 inch bench Band Saw in 2 weeks and need something for that, IF I CAN FIGURE OUT IF MY ITEMS CAN BE MODIFIED TO TAKE A SET OF CASTERS MY PROBLEM IS PARTIALLY SOLVED. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS Don

I bought my band saw from Sears. The band saw table legs had holes for casters. I bought a set of casters that included two which could be locked. The saw is stored out of the way and rolled out when I need to use it.

Thanks Pebbleworm, good site found 2 that will work and on my by list for this month, one at Lowes will look there soon, will let you knoe. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP, THIS IS TYPICAL OF THIS FORUM Don

I found these simple plans for a roll around stand for bench top tools with plenty of storage space underneath to boot. I keep my Byrnes equipment on it. It's in the garage for summer, but soon will go into my basement shop. Just a few 2 X 4's and some plywood. the most expensive part is the casters! I plan to build another one because it has proven so useful. Takes an afternoon to build. Stationary full sized power tools make it a snap, but it can be built with hand tools only.

Notice my 1974-1/2 MGB in the background? It's the first car I bought new! Still runs like a champ!
