Here is my penny's worth.
I was a graphic designer and Mac was the only way to go. If you do graphics have a Mac, if you do clerical work PC is the way.
For years PC tried to do what Macintosh does, but Windows uses a lot of precessing power to run the OS.
I admit after leaving work, I bought a PC becsuse Macs were to expensive too me, and tried to do graphics work.
I got so frustrated with the PC, do I fit a Macintosh again. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I'm so glad to be able to run photoshop and other programmes with ease.

Hi guys :)
I use Adobe Photoshop CS2. It's about 7 years old or so but it was free and seems to be OK under Windows 10 so far. One can actually still obtain it (entire Creative Suite) from Adobe however unsupported for free for both Windows and Mac. For all things vector I have a copy of Corel Draw X6 (education edition) that doesn't like me very much but we get by with teeth gnashing and grinding and lots of cussing!

Hi ALL

Re Photo shop and lightroom, I have got Affinity as you only pay about $50 for it as a one of payment, PS and LR you have to pay monthly .
But some people say that Affinity is not as good as PS but they are Pro photographer's.
In some areas Affinity is better.

Denis.
