hello Pat71 I think if you first make a model out of wood of the gun and you push it in platesine os something like that you have the mold where you put the casting resin or something like that (bleu stuff or green stuff, I'm not experd in this matter so that someone corrected me if it is not so), can use it for your further cannons.

is that the Euromodel Friedrick Wilhelm zu Pferde you are building in 1.50 scale ?
I built that 20 years ago but gave it away half completed as I lost interest in building it. Good luck with your build.

Tnx for Your answers. Ik can put some cannons in have in the mold stuff. And then make them.
 
The wilhelm is from euromodels.com. think it is the ones you lost interest in. Why was that? Is a nice kit but dificult. Have printed about 300 pages from internet as guide.tnx
 
Hi Patrick,

First make a dummy from wood or clay or brass, then you can make a silicone mould from this that you use for casting the resin ones. Off course you can also buy a gun and make a mould from this for the casting.
 
Thinkin of the cost here. 4 cannons are 2.99 euro. Tot make the mold from silicone is 24 euro and the rasin is about 30 euro.

In the hospital now. Big piece of wood fell on my leg. Big piece of skin come of. Can see my bone now. Big problem because my kidneys dont make the hormones to kill infections and heal wounds. Hope i can continue building tomorrow

Tnx all. Just came home. To specialist in wounds tomorrow. They pullen up the skin for now and stisched it. Building boats can be dangerous.
 
They fixed it with glue. Can walk again and build the boats! Tnx
 
Funny thing is that when the wood fell on my leg i had a tube of powerglue in my hand and in a reflex i had put that in my mouth. So it came on my tonque and teeth. I was so bussy to take it of my tonque that i only 5 minutes later discoverred that my pants turned red from the blood.
 
Little update. Made de decks. Painted the cannons. Made the hull fiitted cannon ports on 1 side. Have 35 cannon ports short for the other side but occre is sending them to me so that side has to wait. Painted the portlids.
