Bismarck as always been an iconic ship to me, i love the whole ship design and so it is a model i always wanted to build in a larger scale.

I have started this model about a year ago and i guess i am around 40 % in its completion if not less, i have not taken photos from the beggining but i have taken some still in the early stages, i have searched for these old photos and i will post what i have and try to make a log from them, i hope you enjoy this long, long journey so far and the rest still to come.

After the funnel was 90% done i have mooved to the hangars, i will place the smaller parts like search lights , cabinets etc when im finished with all the major PE. For cleaning the excess Cyano glue from the assembly i use my faithfull Glue Buster or acetone in extreme situations.39409210_2133295733348001_7332516958283235328_o.jpg39409664_2133214613356113_7338183463255670784_n.jpg39453582_2133403280003913_7599535745090453504_o.jpg39467823_2133250806685827_5112318800997384192_o.jpg

It was time to get back to fore superstructure and finish another level, i have placed another wooden deck, and some more details, i have also started to paint the beautifull baltic cammo on this part.39581367_2137614629582778_5879312926845698048_n.jpg39744845_2142134599130781_340296976190930944_o.jpg39755156_2138951816115726_5926901482312957952_n.jpg39869282_2137614406249467_4696909405214474240_n.jpg39883784_2137614486249459_2289992810364928000_n.jpg39934479_2142134619130779_558311891252805632_o.jpg39939018_2142134595797448_699436626744442880_n.jpg20180305_004910_resized.jpg

Love the workmanship and details that you are doing on this fine model.
Are you going to leave the ship as a pristine condition or will you do some aging on her, like rust stains etc.?
I looking forward to see your next entry.
Happymodeling

Thank you, my intention is to give her some aging, like you said some rust and also some dirt stains, i have started testing the weathering and i would like to give her a "used look" like i believe these warships may have looked like during battles, no damage tough.. :D
