Next to be done was the airbrushing of the white and black stripes up the forward superstructure, the funnel, and the rear superstructure. This pic shows the masking of all the pieces so that the white stripe can be applied.
Next, the white masking is removed and the black masking is applied.
And finally, all of the masking is removed, revealing the finished camo stripes.
That is just awesome watching this come together. Great job Jim !!!

Now that all of the painting was done, the next step was to finish the application of the wooden decking.
Application of the Photo-etched pieces on the superstructures was the next step. The next three pics show the application on the first level of the forward and aft superstructures. This pic is of the first level of the forward superstructure. The porthole covers, doors, and some of the guns have been installed. Note also the railings. These are supplied in 0.2mm sheets of brass photo-etched parts. Every one of the railings had to be bent and rounded to conform to the profile of the piece they are to be mounted on
