Welcome to my first time attempting a build log. I ordered the kit from ZHL and it arrived in 8 days to the US.
The kit was well packaged for shipping and arrived in good condition. The kit looks to be very well made and the building materials are excellent. The English instructions are good and plans will be more than enough to get it built.

Thanks for looking.
Mike

It is looking like a real good quality kit.
And therefore you will have a lot of fun to build her....and we will have a lot of fun following your building log.
Many thanks, that you will share this project with us

Well I finally started the Soleil build, and boy did it feel good to be in the shop after a crazy summer.
I got got the keel glued together and bulk heads cut out.

Dry fit the bulk heads and lower deck. With a little sanding they all fit well.
I did have a problem with the number 1 bulk head, it delaminated down one side. I glued it back together and clamped it up, should fix it right back up.
I think I'm going to enjoy this kit.

Another thing. If the bulkheads are dry fitted and are in a perfect place. You can use Chair Doctor Pro glue and run in onto your dry mounted bulkheads. It very strong and easy to use.

I think this this glue is amazing.

Watching and following this Build looks like its gonna be a fun kit so I may just have to build this one. I wasn't expecting a lot from Chinese ship companies, but ZHL knocks it outta the park. I so far haven't had to Manipulate anything on the Black pearl build its going together like a precision machine.
