Good morning!

Has anyone in the forum heard of ZHL kits? If so, does anyone know of the quality?

As I work on the Virginia, I am also looking for the next one I would like to build. I was surfing a few days ago and stumbled on this marketer.
They have a couple of ships that truly catch my eye. A possible problem I see is, a lot of them have their directions only in chinese. But it appears that the practicums are very well done. Lots of pics and drawings.
So someone with any modeling ability could probably sort it all out.

These have been banned on Model Ship World as copiers of other manufactures using their plans and research and producing kits using different wood and rigging materials (various colors and unlabeled, all pretty much worthless unless died). All the castings are resin and not metal. Not all their kits are copies but enough of them supposedly are that they have got a bad name and would not be allowed on most modeling site. Thus, all building and any problems would be up to you to resolve and you could not share your work. Also, I do not know about customer service if things are missing or broken. Since I have not seen any on any site, no one has mentioned anything about this.
 
Thank you Gary! I appreciate the answer. I had never heard of this company before, so I thought it would be a good idea to inquire.
