I found a source for HO scale photoetch eyebolts-

A nickel each before shipping I can afford, and they look much better than I can bend out of wire. I was making some mock-ups of roughly 1/72 to 1/87 siege guns and these look a lot closer to scale even if I will need a loupe and lay off the coffee to get them strung. They are nicely done and shipping from Canada to the US was fast and inexpensive. Just a happy customer.

thanks for the tip !!

I can't slap a caliper on them right now, but from the vendors site the holes are well under .010 inch and the outer diameter just a smidge more. They are quite small.
