R.M.S.Titanic by Billing's

Hi Gary,
I have also considered this kit as a future build, but its just enormus in size and thinking long term of where I will put the model in my house would be a problem.

Zoltan: It is on hold until I finish the Sovereign of the Seas and the Cutty Sark.
Brian: It is long but narrow at only 8 inches across. So it wpould make a nice mantel piece over a fireplace with a case being about 6 and a half feet long and 10 inches wide.

Now, this is going to be awesome !

I have now purchased a lot of things from a person that makes the same scale but provides a fiberglass hull. One of the Items is all the decking in wood to scale and consists of over 10,000 etched planks. Also several other larges sets of photo etched parts including extra chairs, benches, and many other items. This with shipping has added over $800.00 to the cost of the kit.
Thus, I have to get back to finishing the Sovereign and the Cutty Sark so that I can make room for building this monster.
Hello Gary,

I am contemplating building the Billings Titanic, however I dont fancy working with the wood hull. Could you kindly share the name of the company who provides the Fiberglass Hull and the rest of the fittings?

Many Thanks & Regards,

Viren

Hallo Viren,
I hope that you will get the requested information, which sounds interesting.
Would be great, if you would show us your built in a building log.....

and BTW:
A warm Welcome to our forum

I have located a supplier for the 1/144 Scale Plans for the Titanic who also provides a Semi Kit consisting of a CNC Wall set, Fiberglass Hull, PE Plates, fittings set, a CNC Printed wooden Deck set. VERYYYYYY expensive!!!!!!

My plan is to scratch build the Decks from the plans and then go from there.....

I am currently finishing the 4 Hatch Coaster from "Model Slipways" so I am going to phase in the purchasing of the titanic components and plans......but will keep a log on this site when I start.....

Posting some photographs of my previous builds...1/200 USS Missouri and 1/200 HMS Hood
