Producing a bended / curved deckbeam

I found some old photos of one method, how you can produce a curved deckbeam

This method is very good, if you have to produce a bigger number of deck beams with the same camber.

If f.e. the deckbeam should be 6 mm thick, use three times 2mm thick planks, which are allone flexible enough to take over the necessary camber.
Use wood glue which is not fastening fast and glue them together

Before the glue is hardening you have to put this sandwich into a jig like this

Close it slowely, so that the planks are not shifted

With the preassure all three planks are taking over the same camber and the glue can harden. you can have several jigs for different cambers.

After the glue is hardened the beam keep the necessary camber.
On the last photo you can see the basic material and the result with two curved beams
