I'm an old sailorman from the K.N.S.M. and I build modelships from trash. It is not possible to get buildingkits here, so I use everything I can get like empty lighters, satehsticks, small peaces of playwood Ti-wraps and empty cigarboxes. So I build the "Ganymedes" the "Batavia" and the "Belle"

Welcome on board !
Congratulations for your shown models, they are looking great, especially they are trash-based.....Great works.
It would be very interesting to follow once one of your built with a building log..... I am sure we all can learn a lot from the way you are doing these models

Goedemiddag Willy,
Bedankt voor je vriendelijke replay. Ik ben lid van 3 Belgische forums en ken een hoop Belgen hier in Thailand. Ik ben inmiddels met het volgende schip begonnen maar duurt zeker nog een half jaar voor het af is.

Herewith some picks you ask for. The gold on the side and the curtains on the back are made from clay. The masts are made from old paintbrusches. The railings are from satehsticks. The guns are from lemonadestraw with clay. The bars at the backside are made from teastrainer. The only tools I use are a figuresaw, a dremel and flintpaper. And of course filler. If you are interested I can give you a full description how to make this. But it is in Dutch and I don't know if I can do this in Englisch. I am not a "Pietje exacly" but if you know the basic you can do it.
