Hi thrusty mates!
As promised i will start my HMS Enterprize build log.
For me this is a premier, as i have never built a POF model like this.. i have wondered trough forums and posts of similar builds and always wanted to have such a good looking model, never knowing if was capable of such thing... but i had to give it a try. So i have collected the "coins" and jumped on this quest. This one really got me , i hope you enjoy this build as much as i do ! Please leave your comments and tips, let´s get to work...

The Enterprise kit from CAF is realy a high quality kit. For me it was a hard decision, salamandre or the enterprise. Enjoy the built, take your time and no hurry ....... with such a kit you can produce a great model....
I will follow your built with big interest
PS: as we can see you did already remove the char on two frames......my experience with the Salamandre -> you can trust by 99% the sanding marks, but leave a small amount of „meat“ for the final sanding when all frames are installed

I will definitely keep that in mind Uwek. Thank you for the tip.

Nice build, I'm keen to get my hands on this kit before it's discontinued at end of November however the price is too prohibitive. I Just noticed that the kit is about AUD 500 cheaper on TaoBao site (order to be placed directly with the CAF shop) when the price is compared to Aliexpress - . I have never ordered from that site. Does anyone have any experience ordering from TaoBao site? Is there any idea what the freight costs might be to Australia? I can translate the page but cannot find a way to communicate with the seller.

G'day Brito
As the saying goes.... 'I'm, hooked, lined and sinkered' in watching this build.
Great start and looked like you're on turbocharged speed.
Enjoy the model, it is a beauty.

you have peace of mind purchasing through ZHL models. He has a good reputation on this forum from many modellers that have bought his kits.
To be honest I would really love to order from ZHL, unfortunately the Enterprise kit is at USD 1450 (AUD 2000). On TaoBao the kit is about AUD 1480.
Seems the hassle of ordering from Taobao is worth the savings.
