Good morning fellow modellers.

My name, as you can see, is Jaime and I’m from Madrid. As many of you, I started modelling with plastic planes, tanks and other stuff. After getting a little tired I passed to painting lead figures, mainly fantasy characters (LOTR), so I suppose that the wood ship bulding was next.

I’ve done some models and each one was a source of experience and the mistakes are precious lessons learned.

Now I’m involved in an upgrading of the Nepomuceno from Artesania Latina. The kit has many weaknesses I’m trying to solve and the results, I think, are quite good. Besides my intention is to represent SHE (hard for a spaniard to adress a ship this way provided that for us is masculine) as she was just before the battle of Trafalgar. I mean copper platted, “wasp painting”, up to 82 heavy guns, etc.

Thank you very much for your welcome to this great forum.
Hugs
Jaime

Great looking model, and your adjustments to the kit are very good.
Your coppering of the hull looks very realistic, so I hope once you will explain your method(s)......good to have you on board
