Drawings of the Austro - Hungarian Navy

Hello Greg,I don’t know them either,maybe try google them by name.

Zoltan

G'day Zoly
Is there a way to look at the ships?
Sorry, I don't know any of them.
:eek::oops::(

If you take a look at the web-page on the left side top - press „pictures“ and than you get some shadow drawings of most of the vessels. If you press on a vessel you get some technical data of the single vessel.

Uwe your hungarian is good Lol

Thanks Zoly.
They seems to be quite powerful war ships.... Our tall ship's, will soon to be kindling, if they come up against them.

Zoltan mentioned already the Tegetthoff class ships, this class contained all together the
SMS Tegetthoff, SMS Prinz Eugen, SMS Szent Istvan and also the SMS Viribus Unitis.

During a visit in the "Heeresgeschichtliches Museum" in Vienna I made some photos of a model of the SMS Viribus Unitis.
A very special model, due to the fact, that it is a half model, so you can see the complete interieur of this WW1 battleship - > very interesting

By the way the model is in scale 1:25 and all together 6 meter long,
the model was built by 8 workers of the shipyard during the years 1913 to 1917.

So if anybody interested take also a look there....
