hehe thanks Uwe.

Today I got all the floors adjusted and all the notches cut out for the gun ports. so as of now the fronts are finished I will still have to do the bevels but the majority is done. Tonight and this weekend will try to get the aft sections done.

Things left to do before I can start playing beaver:

1: Finish Aft sections
2: Bevel Frames
3: Create Bow and Stern Frames
4: Create Transom area and Wing and filler Transoms
5: Use all the above to make my individual Backbone parts
6: Start cutting wood
7: Break stations into individual parts while glue dries

Sooo I had to cut abt 5 hrs overtime today so they told me head home at lunch tonight so i cut 4 hrs plus an hour for lunch and they let me have an hour OT. I am not complaining I usually get abt 15 hrs overtime a week most the time so I sat back for a bit tonight and got 15 aft stations finished only abt 40 more to go counting the doubles as there are 46 aft stations and several of them are doubles

well I hit a road block on the Roebuck having trouble with the bow and stern stations and need to smooth the inside out it is close but not quite correct. so will have to loft the inside. I am doing the Orlop Deck but noticed the inside isnt quite right so guess things going to slow down while I try to adjust a few things. I might need to move on to another section as I been getting frustrated and wanting to just fiddle with meaningless little parts like capstans etc that I dont need to right now. how do you get past the frustrations and want to continue with a project? usually for me it is move to a different area however until I get the frames finished I cant even really do that due to needing the frames in place for reference and with DaveF in hospital etc and not able to help i am back on my own again. I was thinking maybe if I went to 2D I might be able to get it but need to learn to do it 2D in order for it to be of use again no mentor so its just trial and error

thanks Regs I am not sure was thinking old fashioned way but with about 1020 parts just for all the stations I may have them laser cut just will take a while when finished to set up the cut files and make printed templates so I know which parts are which when they come back.

ok so I got my fwd Cants not sure though. I have the shapes but they look like too big gaps maybe I need to taper them having them thicker on the outside tapering in to the keel? or are they normally the same thickness as the rest of the stations as I made them here? either way at least I got the hard part out of the way getting the shapes. so finally sorta unstuck
