    Bluenose 1:100 by Amati

I am starting a build log with photographs and videos of the Amati Bluenose 1:100 Kit. I hope this is the correct location for this log. Is there a particular standard format for the log?

Bluenose Model Shipways (again) by Mallacoota [COMPLETED BUILD]

I have already built this kit but sold the model to a friend and wanted one to keep. I intend to do some things differently to the first time. I plan to get rid of the bulkhead top tabs as they are very difficult to make look exactly like the 1/8th square intermediates, and they require the...

Bluenose 1:64 by Model Shipways - Build log

Decided to take the plunge and start a log. I’m going to continue to have questions and a build log seems to be the best way to get them answered. So here goes. I’ve been working on my Bluenose (1/64; Model Shipways) since October of 2000 - yes almost 24 years. I started it after a divorce but...

    Bluenose - Model Shipways MS2130 - 1/64 - By JeffT [COMPLETED BUILD]

I will be building the Model Shipways Bluenose (MS2130) in 1/64 (3/16"=1') scale. This is one of the ships I have wanted to build for some time. I got pretty lucky when purchasing the kit and got it at a super sale price when Mode Expo moved their warehouse last year. The Bluenose will be...

The Schooner Bluenose 1921, POF Yuanqing Models 1:72 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Good afternoon, I just received my YQ Bluenose and am excited to share my first look at its contents. Of course, it came very well packaged and upon opening there is no apparent damage to any of the contents. I like the way most all the fiddley pieces have been shrink wrapped to a cardboard...

    And Another Bluenose

At least it will be once I get it. I am in the final stages of building the Amati Mayflower ( https://www.youtube.com/channel ) and have been promising myself and my subscribers the Bluenose for quite some time. I have only just joined this forum, but loving it so far. I have looked through a...

Bluenose (Original) - Billing Boats 1:65 [COMPLETED BUILD]

I have wanted to build this boat for many years and have finally come around to it. I have had experrience with building RC Airplanes and I did enjoy the building part but not the actual flying so I felt that being able to build a static model woould be a good choice. I will post some pictures...

    Bluenose - YuanQuing (1:72)

I'm about to embark on this wondrous adventure with a great deal of trepidation, but I feel confident with the help of all those in the group that have gone before me I'll be able to finish this task. My Bluenose is #47, and it looks like it's on its way. In the meantime, I wait.

Piero's Bluenose # 46 is on the way home. FedEx says she will be here on December 30 ... just in time to see the New Year be born together. And we hope so!

YQ Bluenose by Johan [COMPLETED BUILD]

And there it is! Today at 10:29 a very friendly FedEx guy delivered an eagerly expected package from China. Unfortunately, this is my first and also last post for this year on this Bluenose POF build log, since the Admiral put the package under lock and key; it's her Christmas present for me...

    Dr. Y Bluenose [COMPLETED BUILD]

Hello fellow modelers. I have been watching this group build and have learned a great deal. Not the least of which have been my own lack of talent and experience. All of you have been very generous sharing your explanations and photos. I am taking a bit of a plunge to share some of my photos...

Bluenose II Build (Artesania Latina) 1:75 by Nomad [Completed Build]

This is my very first ship modelling endeavour, or my first modelling endeavour of any nature really. I ordered the Bluenose II from Artesania Latina as a starting point and it already feels that I'm punching well above my weight. Nonetheless, I was encouraged by other build logs on this forum...

    Bluenose 1/72 POF [COMPLETED BUILD]

This is the build log of my POF Bluenose. I started with the frames. I glued and beveled the first 10 frames and placed them in the jig, as a holder. The jig was screwed down to a piece of plywood, to prevent warping. The plywood will be removed later for access.

    Bluenose by Liebre

I have never worked with wood before, and this is my first time. Started with the beginning of the keel I followed Heinrich's instructions and followed Peter's construction method, for assembling the keel On a glass plate and with an iron ruler After light sanding it already looks a lot...

    YQ BLUENOSE - Ronko

Greeting everyone! I've been spying on you all for a while now, I suppose it's time to come out of hiding. I have enjoyed watching the fine craftsmen here from around the world share their amazing skills so kindly and graciously. Very uplifting to see a diverse group of people come together...

    Bluenose - Robertd [COMPLETED BUILD]

So far my built, not 100 % perfect but passible , my mistake was not paying a greater attention to sanding the notches on the jig , soon learnt , the forum is a valuable source of information no doubt and I follow Dean’s achievements every move not to make mistakes , it sure is a challenge .I...

    YQ Bluenose— TomV

This is the first build log I have done. Since I’m a newcomer to POF kits, and since so many others have set out their techniques in such great detail already, the plan here is to post my progress accompanied by questions as they arise. I appreciate everyone’s help as I move ahead with this...
